LBSIM Honours Alumni and Faculty on its 31st Foundation Day

New Delhi: Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM), Dwarka, celebrated its 31st Foundation Day with great enthusiasm at its campus. The occasion highlighted the institute’s inspiring three-decade journey, its commitment to academic excellence, and its significant role in shaping future leaders.

 

During the programme, distinguished alumni who have achieved remarkable success in their respective fields were honoured. The awardees included Sheetal Khanna (General Manager, Gold Plus Glass; Batch 1999–2001), Sahil Bhambri (National Sales Manager, Bajaj Finserv; Batch 2013–2015), Girdhari Lal (Director, Deloitte; Batch 2006–2008), Nitin Sachdeva (Head HR Business Partnering, BharatPe; Batch 2010–2012), and Puneet Swani (Partner & Head of Talent Solutions, AON; Batch 1997–1999).

 

The institute also recognised senior faculty members for their years of dedicated service. Among those honoured were Dr. Rajkumari Mittal, Dr. Sushil Kumar Dixit, and Dr. Samant Shant Priya.

 

Chairman of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management Shree Anil Shastri reflected on the institute’s three-decade journey and reiterated that LBSIM was established with the vision of strengthening ethical leadership and the spirit of public service. He emphasized that the ideals of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri continue to guide the institution. His iconic slogan, “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan,” remains a symbol of national unity, dedication, and self-reliance. He added that LBSIM is committed to nurturing competent and responsible leaders rooted in these values.

 

Director of LBSIM, Prof. Praveen Gupta, in his address, highlighted the institute’s notable achievements and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting innovation, leadership, and value-based education.
