The Kamath brothers of Zerodha get an annual salary of Rs 72 crore each in 2022–2023

<p>The creators of the online brokerage platform Zerodha, Nithin and Nikhil Kamath, took a total of Rs 195.4 crore in remuneration for the fiscal year 2022–2023 (FY23).</p>

<p>The co-founders and directors of Zerodha reportedly received an annual compensation of Rs 72 crore each, according to an Entracker report.</p>
<p>“In FY22, Zerodha’s board passed a resolution approving a remuneration of up to Rs 100 crore each to three of its directors,” said the report.</p>
<p>The cost of employee benefits for Zerodha increased by 35.7% to Rs 623 crore in FY23 from Rs 459 crore in FY22.</p>
<p>The business paid its workers, including directors, a total remuneration of Rs 380 crore.</p>
<p>At this point, the corporation is worth $3.6 billion.</p>
<p>At the age of 37, Nikhil Kamath has become the youngest millionaire in India.</p>
<p>With a combined net worth of $5.5 billion, brothers Nithin and Nikhil Kamath were placed 40th among the wealthiest persons in India on Forbes’ most recent list of the nation’s 100 richest people.</p>
<p>For the fiscal year 2022–2023 (FY23), Zerodha reported revenue of Rs 6,875 crore and profit of Rs 2,907 crore. These figures indicate increases in revenue and profit of 38.5 percent and 39.5 percent, respectively, over the prior fiscal year.</p>
<p>The firm declared a profit of Rs 2,094 crore and sales of Rs 4,964 crore for FY22.</p>
