<p>In Sunday’s third and final women’s T20 International here, India defeated England by five wickets despite Smriti Mandhana’s shaky run-a-ball performance of 48.</p>

<p>The three-match series was won by England 2-1. India responded with 130 for 5 after England got 126 all out.</p>
<p>Heather Knight, the captain, batted first and amassed a respectable 126 for England with three wickets taken by spinners Saika Ishaque (left-arm orthodox) and Shreyanka Patil (off-break specialist).</p>
<p>For India, the second-wicket partnership of Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues (29 off 33 balls) amounted to 57. Mandhana scored two sixes and five fours.</p>
<p>Short scores: England: 126 all out in 20 overs (Shreyanka Patil 3 for 19, Heather Knight 52, Saika Ishaque 3 for 22).</p>
