Weeks after CFO Nilanjan Roy left, Narayana Murthy’s Rs 600000 crore business lost a significant Rs 12500 crore transaction. In case you missed it, Nilanjan Roy began working at Infosys in 2019. He had a number of executive roles before joining Bharti Airtel Ltd. as its global chief financial officer. The agreement with Infosys was supposed to be a 15-year commitment. In September, the firms inked a memorandum of understanding.

“In their exchange filings, Infosys stated that this is a follow-up to the disclosure made by Infosys vide letter dated September 14, 2023, titled “corporation update” regarding a Memorandum of Understanding with a global company that was contingent upon parties entering into a Master Agreement.”

“The global company has now elected to terminate the Memorandum of Understanding and the parties will not be pursuing the Master Agreement.” The business continued.
